Our journey together begins with a short video call to discuss your business and content requirements. This helps us mutually decide if we're a good fit, and allows me to understand how I can make a real difference for you. Plus, it’s always nice to put a face to a name!

Turn on your subscription

If we both agree we’re a good fit for each other, I send you a secure payment link (via Stripe) to start your monthly subscription. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.

Start submitting content requests

After signing up, I’ll send you access to your own Trello board. This will be set up with a queue for submitting your individual requests, which you can add to, remove from, or reorder at any time. You can also add any useful context (links, briefs, attachments etc.) to each individual card. And if you'd prefer me to use your internal project management tool, that's fine too!

I’ll send you a completed piece of work within, on average, 48-72 hours (depending on the length and complexity of the content it could be a single day, or a few days). If no further edits are needed, I move to the next task in your list. If not, you provide feedback and I revise it until you’re completely happy.

A full-time writer with my level of experience and expertise comes with significant costs, including salary, benefits, and taxes. Plus, managing an employee requires time, energy and a longer term commitment. With my service, you get the benefits of an experienced writer without the overhead costs or management stress. Plus, because I’m not bogged down by meetings and inboxes and all those things full-time employees have to manage, I’m fast. Really fast.

Ok, but I could just hire a freelancer?

Hiring a freelancer often includes unpredictable costs, turnaround times, and lengthy discussions about scope and revisions. Instead, my flat-rate subscription service provides consistent, high-quality content with fast turnarounds. The price is fixed and budgeting is simple. What kind of content can you create for me?

I specialise in creating a wide variety of written content, including but not limited to website copy, landing page copy, eBook copy, blog posts, email campaigns, cadences and flows, sales scripts and enablement materials, social media posts, newsletters, product marketing content, marketing copy, and the editing/polishing of any written content you have. If you have specific content needs, don't hesitate to reach out and we can discuss how I can best serve your business.

How do I submit my requests and communicate with you?

I will invite you to your own Trello board, where you can submit, track and review your tasks. Each task gets its own Trello card. You can also leave comments or questions against those tasks, and attach files/images/briefs etc. for additional context. Or, if you'd prefer, you can invite me to your internal tools and I'll work from there. I'm also totally happy being invited to a Slack channel, or other comms tool, as an async touchpoint.

Can I schedule out a dozen pieces of work for you right now?

To keep things as focused and efficient as possible, you can submit as many requests as you like to your queue but I will only work on one of them at a time. When that's been completed, I’ll start on the next one in your list. You can add to, remove from, or re-order that list at any time. As an experienced SaaS leader, I understand the value of having to continually narrow down your choice to the ONE next thing that will shift the needle in your business. This queued work model compliments that perfectly. It’s a powerful way to separate the wheat from the chaff!

How quickly can I expect my content to be delivered?

I will generally deliver each piece of content within 48-72 hours from the time the request was made. Please note that larger projects may take a little longer, but if I expect it to be outside that typical window I will always communicate an expected delivery time with you.

What if the work I receive isn't quite right, and needs revisions?

No problem! I want to get it completely right, so there are no limits on the revisions you can ask for. It’s only once you’re completely satisfied with that content that I move onto your next request.

Why wouldn't I just use ChatGPT to write copy for me?

While AI has made impressive strides in many areas, it simply can't replace the nuance, creativity, and emotional intelligence of a human writer, particularly when it comes to crafting copy that truly resonates with your audience. My service isn't just about delivering words; it's about understanding your brand, your goals, and your audience, and conveying that understanding through compelling copy. AI can't replicate that personal touch, nor can it replicate the first-hand, real life experience I’ve gained from over 15 years running and growing SaaS businesses.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription when I need to?

Absolutely. I understand that business needs can change rapidly, and adding flexibility is one of the best parts of the subscription model. You can pause or cancel at any time.

How does the billing work, and is it secure?

Billing is done monthly, and handled automatically, through a secure payment platform called Stripe (the industry standard in online payments). Your payment secures a month's worth of content requests, delivered in the order they are received, each completed within a 48-72 hour window. Remember: your subscription can be cancelled or paused at any time, via a direct link that will be available from your Trello board.
